Academic Publishing with Ad Physicus
Peer-Review and Manuscript Acceptance
Ad Physicus will publish in its online journal all credible scientific reports in the life sciences that meet our editorial standards and complete a credible, peer-review process. Article and peer-review credibility are determined by the editorial staff, who rely predominately on the content of the submitted manuscript, the credentials of the peer-reviewers, and the quality of the peer-reviewer comments. The submitted manuscript should be written in English using proper grammar and sentence structure and should clearly communicate to the reader the authors’ expertise in the reported field. Peer-reviewers should be experts in their respective fields as evidenced by a degree of higher education in their field and/or appointment within an academic department in their field. Peer-reviewers of medical reports will be required to have completed a medical degree program, and peer-reviews of other life science reports will be required to hold an advanced degree (Masters degree or higher) in their respective field. All peer-reviewers must be unbiased and abide by the ethical principles of peer-review defined in our peer-reviewer guide. All peer-reviewer comments must demonstrate thorough reading of the submitted manuscript, critical evaluation of the manuscript’s merits and deficits, and constructive criticism for the authors that will lead to improvement of the submitted work. All manuscript submissions must be accompanied by 5 proposed peer-reviewers, and a minimum of 2 peer-reviewers must complete a peer-review of the submitted article that satisfies the above requirements. Any article that completes this process, including all appropriate manuscript editing and revising as recommended by the peer-reviewers, will be published in the Ad Physicus online journal.
