Policy on Academic Fraud and Ethical Misconduct

Ad Physicus strictly adheres to the principles set forth by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We will not tolerate plagiarism, copyright infringement, data manipulation, false reporting, submission of incorrect or false reports, authorship fraud, incomplete or inaccurate conflict of interest disclosure, peer-review process manipulation, manipulation or misuse of our profit-sharing program, libel, or defamation. Ad Physicus will thoroughly investigate any parties suspected of the above behavior and will readily involve employers, affiliated academic institutions, and any relevant governing bodies or law enforcement personnel as the situation dictates. If our internal review process and investigation concludes that misconduct took place, the offending parties will be banned from Ad Physicus and forfeit any and all profit-sharing and/or royalty agreements.
